A multi-building complex that hosts different STEM activities and exhibits.

The Liberty Science Center is the largest interactive science center in New Jersey, and it contains over 800 interactive games and exhibits during various special events throughout the year. The Liberty Science Center also offers summer programs for campers who are looking for an educational experience with other children who share interests in math and science. The facility itself comprises 193,000 square feet of indoor space.

Partnering organizations include: IBM Corporation, ExxonMobil Corporation, and Rolex Watch U.S.A., Inc., which all provide funding to maintain the LSC's exhibits and programming as well as corporate volunteers to assist visitors at certain times of day, giving school-related presentations or behind-the-scenes tours.

Thunder from the Sea is a permanent Exhibit at LSC that shows how tsunamis destroy everything in their paths, and how researchers work to save lives from giant tidal waves. Thunder from the Sea was created with Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Services (SITES) help, which plans for constructing temporary exhibits across the United States. Many of Thunder's props were borrowed or made by SITE, including an actual fake wall of an underwater structure that fell apart during Hurricane Sandy, which became part of the exhibit. A large animated display showing what happens when water floods through homes also exists within this exhibit."
