Go-kart racing, indoor karting and RC (remote control) mini car racing. Its indoor racetrack is both open for walk-in races and reserved races. RPM Raceway also offers a wide range of group programs and private parties that help bring the fun to you. The company's racing events are open to the public, with prices starting at $24.95 per race for adults and $19.95 for children. It has locations throughout the United States, including New Jersey, Florida and California.

"RPM Raceway is a great location for team building activities or office outings," said Laura Hagan, event coordinator at RPM Raceway in Jersey City. "It really brings people together because it gets everyone excited about racing."

The K1 Speed franchise started in Los Angeles, California in 2002 with one indoor kart track under its belt. Since then, it has grown into an international brand that now features 12 venues across six states: Texas (2), Utah (2), Nevada (3), Arizona (2), and California.

The company has recently undergone a significant expansion, opening additional locations in Southern California, Nevada and Utah.

RPM Raceway now features two tracks: one that is 1/5th of a mile long for its electric karts, which reach speeds up to 45 mph; and the second track is just under a half-mile long for its gas-powered karts at speeds as high as 60 mph. Part of the fun comes from competing against other drivers on a closed circuit – something you can't do with radio controlled cars – because radio interference delays would upset the race results. "This type of racing offers an adrenaline rush without having to worry about traffic or getting tickets," said Hagan.
